Welcome to the W8BAD Flat Rock, Michigan Echolink home page. This website is dedicated to the downriver community for the pupose of amteur radio information. The W8BAD Echolink node is a VOIP emergency communications node dedicated to any possible assistance that may be needed within our coverage area. The node is located in Flat Rock. The current non emergency operating frequency is 145.540 simplex running 1 watt.                                                                                                                

                 The 70cm repeater is restricted access.

                          Donate to the w8bad Echolink Repeater

We are always looking to upgrade our communications abilities. The W8BAD Echolink node is always under construction. We are looking for donations to upgrade the system to further support emergency communications in the Downriver Michigan area. Future upgrades in development include  APRS IGate, IRLP and Dstar. Any contribution to the system would help inhance our emergency communications capacity.
